Tip: work in small sections — lubricant must not dry.
FEYNLAB® Panel Prep (“truth serum”)
After washing and decontamination, grease > chemical traces from previous steps remain on the paint. Panel Prep is the final step that:
- removes oil and silicone residue,
- prepares the surface for gloss test and bond,
- unifies water behaviour before application.
Always follow contact time and rinse / wipe per instructions — on sensitive films and plastics read compatibility.
Sequence
- Wash → chemical decontamination → clay with Prime.
- Rinse / neutralise.
- Panel Prep in controlled sections.
- Only then thickness measurement, correction (studio), or coating installation.
Overall framework: Full decontamination: DIY vs. studio.
