Hard water and drying speed
The slider simulates water hardness and how long water stays on the paint as isolated droplets — further right = worse water spot scenario.
Medium load
Drops partially mineralize before evaporating — systematic drying and a drying aid help significantly.
Rings = mineral residue after evaporation
Drying aid
Product lowers water surface tension — water sheets into films and shortens time isolated “lens” droplets remain. Suitable in higher humidity, sun, or on vehicles with large glass area.
Water spot remover (WSR)
Removes already formed mineral deposits. Requires:
- precise dilution and time,
- no drying on panel,
- panel temperature control.
On sensitive surfaces and when in doubt, hand work to a certified studio.
