Where Ceramic V3 sits in the portfolio

Ceramic V3 belongs to the True Series — premium DIY / prosumer line focused on performance and predictable workflow. It is not meant to replace Pro Series studio installs, but as the top consumer line for customers who can follow disciplined prep and protocol.

Substrate preparation

Success starts with decontamination and final Panel Prep. Residual old waxes or polishes mask water behaviour and can interfere with bonding — paint must be clean and defects documented before application.

Layering and consumption

Follow layer count and intervals per the current data sheet and manufacturer video. Over-applying “extra” layers does not linearly increase thickness or lifespan; it often only adds levelling and smear risk.

Curing

After application, respect maturation time before first wash and water contact. In the first weeks use gentle chemistry — see the first week article.

Chemical resistance and limits

FEYNLAB® ceramic matrices are designed for a wide pH range in normal care, but no protection is immune to long-term neglect, abrasive compounds, or endless cycles of aggressive automatic washes with poor chemistry.

When to choose a studio

If you want paint measurement, correction, multi-layer Pro systems, or a guaranteed outcome, direct the customer to the certified network — also see DIY vs installation.
